GuideStar Eldercare Long-Term Care Antipsychotic Stewardship®

GuideStar Eldercare is proud to establish a first of its kind Long-Term Care Antipsychotic Stewardship Program®. Backed by clinical experience and research, we presented results of the program in 3 facilities at AAIC 2022. The goal is to help facilities safely reduce their antipsychotic usage rates and polypharmacy, while supporting their regulatory and documentation compliance. GuideStar’s person-centered approach and extensive experience in pharmacologic best practices for residents with dementia and psychiatric conditions provides positive clinical outcomes for residents and support for LTC facilities.
